1. Steel Rolling Reheating Furnace

Operating temperature: 1200–1400°C
Zirconia-containing ceramic fiber modules are laid on the hot face for high temperature and oxidation resistance.
Zirconia-alumina ceramic fiber blankets are installed as the insulation layer to effectively reduce heat loss.

2. Annealing Furnace & Heat Treatment Furnace

Operating temperature: 800–1100°C
Folded ceramic fiber modules matched with anchoring systems improve structural stability.
Ceramic fiber boards are adopted at critical positions to strengthen resistance to air flow erosion and extend service life.

3. Ladle & Hot Metal Ladle Cover

Operation feature: Intermittent operation with drastic temperature fluctuations (ambient temperature up to 1300°C).
Ceramic fiber boards (resistant to molten slag splashing) or high-density ceramic fiber modules are used on the hot face, with ceramic fiber blankets as backing insulation.

4. Blast Furnace Hot Blast Pipeline

Challenges: Erosion by high-temperature airflow (900–1250°C) and cyclic temperature variations.
Ceramic fiber solution:
  • Lining: High-density ceramic fiber boards (≥220kg/m³) with outstanding anti-erosion performance.

  • Joint sealing: Ceramic fiber braided ropes or blankets to prevent leakage of hot flue gas.

5. Other Critical Equipment

  • Blast furnace: Furnace throat, hot blast pipelines, hot stove lining (insulation layer), hot metal runner covers

  • Hot blast stove: Furnace top, combustion chamber and checker brick areas to cut heat loss

  • Converter & electric arc furnace: Thermal insulation and sealing for furnace covers, furnace doors and tapping holes

  • Ladle & tundish: Permanent layer insulation and ladle cover lining to slow down temperature drop of molten steel

  • Flues & chimneys: Lining for high-temperature flue gas pipelines with anti-corrosion and thermal insulation functions
